About Betterclad Insulation Ltd
Over the last decade Nelson has experienced sustained growth in its core economic sectors; fishing, agriculture, horticulture, forestry, construction and engineering, and tourism.
As a result of expansion in the marine, horticulture and industrial sectors in particular, an opportunity emerged to establish a company with a highly skilled workforce offering specialist pipe construction and welding services. Rising to the challenge Steve and Leanne Fry launched Betterweld Engineering Ltd in 1989.
It soon became apparent that hand in hand with welding expertise, there was a demand for the thermal and acoustic insulation and pipe cladding, and so early in 2000, Betterclad Insulation Ltd was born.
Today Betterclad Insulation is known throughout Nelson and the South Island for providing a specialised insulation service second to none.
